Johns new giant ring

John brought this stone back from Sri Lanka - it's about 5cm long! I can safely say that it is the largest stone I have ever set. It only needed a simple setting as the stone says enough for itself.

Homeless Kangaroo...

This poor Kangaroo and her baby have been wandering from stable to stable looking for a place to lay their heads. No one will take them in, and they only cost £15 to keep. Poor roos!

Lindas new wedding ring

This is Lindas' new wedding ring. I remodelled her original rings into something completely bespoke and unique. It is set with the emeralds and diamonds that were in her old rings giving them a new lease of life. I hope she has many happy years of wearing it. It was a pleasure to make this ring :o)

David's Wedding ring

Davids ring is made from platinum and is set with black diamonds on the outside edge of the ring making it quite unusual.

Jo's ring set all together

The wedding rings overlap the shoulders of the engagement ring so giving the feeling the the centre stone being completely encased in a swirl of diamonds.

I'm Back!

I'm just back from exhibiting my jewellery at the Emigrate shows in Liverpool and Coventry and have to get to work making my orders. I really enjoyed getting to speak to people and to get some feed back on the silver jewellery I have made.

Fiona gets more diamonds. . .

The thin edge of this ring was originally a wedding ring on it's own. It is a three colour gold twist, but after so many years of wear it was getting a little thin. So it was decided that Fiona needed something new, but she wanted to incorporate her original ring as has huge sentimental value.
Over a coffee, we discussed what Fiona would like the most - more diamonds! "I think I deserve them after all these years" she commented. So, I drew Fiona a set of designs and she chose the one she liked.
I added a 9ct white gold ring to the edge of the original wedding ring and set three diamonds along the top, and I added an inner sleeve of rose gold to make the whole ring a bit chunkier. The rose gold and white gold picked out the colours in the tri-colour twist quite nicely.
Fiona is pleased with her new ring - and there is even a little extra room around the rest of the ring for more diamonds to be added as subsequent presents from her husband . . . !

Signet Ring

This is a signet ring I have just made. It is made from two rings that were melted down and remodeled. The stone is a blood stone (green with flecks of red) and it had a seal engraved into it. These usually represent the family name and when pressed into wax leave their reverse impression.

One Off Ring

This is the latest ring I have made for stock - it is a yellow/green quartz with a fancy cut. I carved the ring out of wax so that it would fit the stone perfectly.

Kelda's 18th Birthday Present

Happy 18th birthday to Kelda!,

This is the ring which Kelda and her Mum commissioned as a special birthday present. It is silver, set with a green tourmaline. I textured the surface of the ring using a highly polished round ended hammer - it gives a lovely dappled effect.

Beachyhead

Today we walked from Exceat back to Eastbourne, along the Seven Sisters route. The landscape and scenary was brilliant. It was such a clear and still day that you could see for miles. I think we walked approximatley 10 miles and well deserved that ice cream at the end.
